Agree on the actual scope
Weekly pool care can vary by provider and by the condition of the pool. Ask which cleaning tasks, water tests, chemical handling, and basic equipment checks are included. Also ask what is billed separately, such as filter work or repairs.
A neglected or very green pool may need an initial cleanup before a recurring schedule begins. Describe the current water condition honestly so a provider can discuss the right starting point.
A useful request
Say whether you want weekly care, temporary vacation coverage, or a one-time visit. Mention whether another company currently services the pool and any recurring issues you have noticed.
The provider should explain their service frequency, communication process, and how they handle problems that fall outside routine maintenance.
